It's always hard to write a good text about yourself. Not only it should give realistic picture of who you really are, but it should also satisfy the writer too...

Basic facts

My name is Mikko Lammi, I'm born 6. august 1982 and live in Tampere, Finland. For the last three years, I've been working for Accenture, doing stuff related to telecom software. I'm also still a M.Sc student in University of Tampere, majoring computer science and trying to graduate on some day. My other paid hobby is to look after the TOASnet student housing network.

I'm been playing quite a lot with computers since age of ten or something. I don't think I'm a genius coder or hacker, I just want know how to handle computers, especially networked ones. I want to know how things work, so that when they don't, I have at least some idea what's wrong. I'm also interested a bit in business, society and politics in same way, I want to understand how they should work, so I can see when there's something wrong with them.

I like to learn, to understand and to explore. I read books, I read comics, and I watch movies & TV series from all around the globe in order to both understand better this world and also to escape from its' reality from time to time. I like to know people. I like to have friends, so I don't feel lonely. I like to care and be cared, to love and be loved, but I'm also afraid of hurting and being hurt. Very simple needs and wishes.

I am what I want to be. Stargazer, geek, a bit crazy but usually worth of trust. And always eager to explore new horizons.
